It supports member families in their efforts to: Improve the quality of life for all Indian people with Prader-Willi Syndrome and their families. Improves the physical and mental wellbeing, socially as well as occupationally, of all people with PraderWilli syndrome, so that they may, according to their wishes, lead a life as normal as possible and be in a position to achieve their full potential as allowed by the constitution of India. .IPWSA endeavours and co-operate and/or affiliate itself with other organizations with similar objectives.
IPWSA is affiliated to IPWSO (International PraderWilli Syndrome Organization) and ORDI (Organization for Rare Diseases India). IPWSA acts as a liaison to collate and disseminate PWS material for its members by internal communication, social media and organizing national and international events and conferences. By doing so it aims to, stimulate international cooperation on PWS research projects on the origins, management and prevention of the Prader-Willi syndrome.
